The Kapuzinerkirche is located in the bustling area of Vienna, just one street away from the Hofburg. The exterior of this church is very unassuming, making it difficult for me to imagine the stunning scenes inside.<\/p>\n

Since its completion in 1622, the Kapuzinerkirche has served as the royal burial ground for members of the Habsburg dynasty. Sissi, hailed as the most beautiful queen in all of Europe and whose life was filled with dramatic tension, now rests here.<\/p>\n

Looking at the lifelike artworks, I can't help but wonder: have the souls of the deceased been imprisoned within these statues?<\/p>\n
