Is it safe for a girl to wait alone for a night train in India? Based on my three experiences, I would say, \" It's relatively safe.\"<\/p>\n

Let's take larger train stations as an example. They are usually crowded with people, some lying down or sitting around, and the main concern is accidentally bumping into someone. What about smaller stations? They are generally fine as well. Trains in India often have unpredictable schedules, and delays of a few hours are common. As a result, each station has a separate waiting room for women, and overall, it's relatively safe.<\/p>\n

\u25e6 The Premium Lounge at Varanasi Railway Station<\/span><\/h6>\n

When it comes to waiting areas, I have to mention the Varanasi Railway Station, which left me both surprised and delighted.\nThe lounge for foreign travelers, located next to the ticket counters is like a luxurious hotel lobby. It has air conditioning, comfortable sofas, clean bathrooms, and a fast charging area. Why am I so excited about the fast charging station? Most charging areas at train stations and on trains are painfully slow, barely adding 1% charge in ten minutes. So, having a reliable place to charge devices is crucial!<\/p>\n

Inside the lounge, it feels like a different world compared to the outside. But, as they say, good things don't last forever. When it hits 8:00 PM, the premium lounge close, and foreign travelers eventually return to reality.<\/p>\n
