Five years ago, when I first came to Germany, the Volksbühne in Berlin was the first theater I visited. Five years later, I finally had the opportunity to attend a performance inside the theater, and, incredibly, I was fortunate enough to witness the legendary device: the fire curtain!

On the way to Berlin, my friend asked, "Do you know what food you should try in Berlin? The delicious Vietnamese pho!" I understood that she wasn't just talking about Vietnamese pho, but was highlighting that Berlin offers a variety of delicious international cuisines to try.
I really love the apartment we rented in Berlin! My friend and I each have our own bedroom and bathroom, and we also have a cozy shared living space for interaction. This way, we can enjoy a relaxed and undisturbed lifestyle. It's the ideal way for me to travel.
In Russia, caviar is everywhere, from supermarkets and restaurants to specialty stores. Initially, I purchased some affordable canned salmon caviar from a supermarket. Upon opening the can, I was hit by an intense fishy odor that was so strong it almost deterred me from tasting it. Eating it with some bread, I couldn't help but wonder if this daunting caviar was really the famous delicacy everyone talks about.
The image printed on the Russian 100 ruble note is that of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre, which is celebrating its 240th anniversary this year. It was one of the main reasons for my visit to Moscow. The facade of the theatre is dominated by a striking statue of the sun god Apollo driving a chariot pulled by four bronze horses, making it one of Moscow's iconic landmarks.
This July, I visited Pamplona, Spain. It was my first time participating in the Running of the Bulls, and my first time witnessing up close the life-and-death struggle between the bull and the matador in the bullring. Six bulls' lives were taken right before my eyes, and the artificially created jubilation made me feel even more alienated from my surroundings.
Segovia, located to the north of Spain's capital, Madrid, boasts an old town and an aqueduct, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Acueducto de Segovia is not only the best-preserved ancient Roman relic on the Iberian Peninsula, but it is also an iconic symbol of Segovia. Two kilometers away from the aqueduct stands the Alcázar de Segovia, which gained fame as an inspiration for Disney's castles.
