Column|Athens is a Paradise for Cats

It is about to leave Athens and start a solo trip to Italy. Before leaving, I spent a lot of time observing my surroundings. Here, besides people, cats are the beings I encounter most frequently.

They dine in the old town, stroll beneath the Acropolis, and take naps at shop entrances. Cats maintain a respectful distance from each other, ensuring that they don't overstep boundaries. Between cats and humans, there is an understanding: feeding is appreciated, but excessive interaction is not.

If I could be a cat in my next life, I would truly wish to live in Athens.
